Here is another site where I visited, this one is on Tapau, Kedah...right under the Gurun Hill's nose.
This site has been mining quite sometime..and the best thing the land owner is the guy selling durians on the gate of this mine...hehe. From what he told me, the land was rented out for mining purposes and in fact has been doing quite well.
The site has a Hematite Iron Ores consist of Fe 55%. Was properly organize and very well kept. The site is just around the corner of the Tapau Resort here in Gurun, Kedah.
